  I think this was our third or fourth visit here. On a previous occasion our food didn't arrive for ages so looking at the receipt we could see it was 40 min since we ordered. My boyfriend went up to enquire where our food was. He was told our boneless chicken platter takes longer! They offer a dessert for free! Cool! Accepted!
  
  Few mins later they serve a plate to us, and we see it's on the bone. So we call the guy over who looks at the receipt & says it's not boneless on the order! So we say - why did it take so long if it is on the bone when you said it takes longer to make it boneless?!? Someone is making it up!!! Lol
  
  We say we will eat it as it is as I'm hungry now! The guy comes back and says I'd like to offer you the boneless platter on your next visit, for free! Okay!! Lol we had that meal few weeks later and it was pretty quick!!!
  
  This time I had a gift card to use so we had a sharing platter and it arrived really quickly! So that first occasion we think they forgot our order!!
  
  The service was good, really friendly today and food was good though it took ages to get sauce out of the bottle!!!

  One of the nicest Nando's I've been to for looks and layout - but they were in seeerious need of another waiter on Sunday eve! Or just stop them all taking extra-long breaks in the staffroom at the same time?! We were stood like lemons by the door for at least 10 mins before someone came over to seat us. They'd run out of cutlery in the pots and said they'd bring some over (which they didn't). We spotted a backlog of food ready to be served that wasn't being taken to the tables. Our food arrived 40mins after we'd ordered even though they weren't full. And our server left us standing at the counter for 5mins thinking he'd gone to get more soft drink glasses from the kitchen, when he'd actually just forgotten and gone for a break.
  
  The saving graces were 1) the compliment from the guy at the till that I was a nando's ordering pro because he didn't have to say anything(!), and 2) the food was thankfully up to scratch - we'd all had a long, sad kind of day and totally weren't up for cooking, so a disappointing nando's after all of the above would have been the last straw!
  
  Follow signs onto the Crown Wharf to find this place btw - there's plenty of parking, free in the evenings.
